What are Adventure Modes?
Adventure Modes are dynamic mapping environments that bundle the most appropriate basemaps, trails, and overlays into intuitive packages. When you select a mode, the map automatically updates to show the most relevant maps for that specific activity.
Each mode is comprised of three primary components:
- Basemaps: Choose between topographic maps for hiking, off-roading, or snow activities.
- Trails: View curated trail networks specific to the mode, such as Long Distance trails for hiking or MVUM for off-roading.
- Overlays: Essential data layers, like Private Land or Cell Coverage, that can be toggled on or off with a single click.
Note: The map will automatically remember your last used configuration for each mode. For example, if you turn on Public Tracks in Hike Mode today, it will still be on when you come back tomorrow.
