This article will show you how to download maps for a track, route, or area in the Android app. You can use the 'Download Maps for Track, Route, or Area' feature to download an offline map that follows your track, route, or area. This downloads 5 map tiles (individual images that make up a digital map) on either side of your route or track. Because the tile size is different for different sources, the width of the map may vary slightly depending on the selected map source and the location of the track/route/area.
Download Maps for a Track, Route, or Area
- Select a saved track, route, or area from the Saved menu.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen
- Tap "Download Map for Track/Route/Area"
4. Choose a resolution and source(s).
If you'd like to be able to create additional routes in the map while offline, check the box to download Offline Route Data.
