This article will show you how to use the new Isolate on Map feature. The Isolate on Map feature is currently only available on the web. When toggled on, this feature allows you to display a specific piece of data you want to see on the map by filtering out all other routes, tracks, waypoints, and areas surrounding the selected piece of data.
How to Use the Isolate on Map Feature
- Log into your Gaia GPS account on the web
- Once logged in, find the piece of data you would like to view in either the Saved Items sidebar or by selecting it directly on the map. In this example, we will show a waypoint selected from the Saved Items sidebar.
- The Isolate on Map feature will be automatically toggled off in the data details sidebar. When the feature is toggled off, all surrounding data will appear translucent around the selected piece of data.
4. Toggle Isolate on Map ON to show only the specific piece of data on the map.
5. To turn Isolate on Map OFF, you can either click the toggle again or click the red Exit button at the top of the map.
