Managing Folders in iOS

This article will show you how to manage folders in the Gaia GPS iOS app. The Folders feature allows you to organize your saved data and easily access your imports. This article will teach you how to:

• Create a new folder to file items
• Add items to a Folder
• Remove items from a Folder
• Delete a Folder

Create a New Folder

1. Tap Saved

2. Tap the Filter button to filter the Saved list by All or Folders

3. Tap the Action menu

4. Tap 'Create Folder'

5. Enter a Folder name and tap Save

Add Items to a Folder

Method 1 - Add item to a folder from the item view

1. Open your Saved list and select the item you wish to file to a Folder

2. Tap 'Choose Parent Folder'

3. Tap the name of the Folder to add the item to it

Method 2 - Add items from the Folder view

1. Tap Saved to view your saved data

2. Tap the Folder to open it

3. Tap the More menu, then tap 'Add Item to Folder' 

4. On the next page, you can use the search bar to find the item(s) you wish to add to the Folder

5. Tap on each item you wish to add to the Folder, then tap 'Back' to view them in the Folder

Remove Items from a Folder

1. Open your Saved list and select the item you wish to remove from a Folder

2. Tap the Folder name

3. Tap 'Remove from Folder'

Delete a Folder

1. Tap Saved to view your saved data

2. Tap the action icon to the right of the Folder name, then tap Delete
