Click the Settings icon to view the Map Preferences panel in order to switch between metric or imperial units and change your coordinate format: Decimal Degrees; Degrees, Decimal Minutes; Degrees, Minutes, Seconds; or UTM.
Open Map Preferences
- Click the Settings icon to open the Map Preferences panel
- Select the distance units and the coordinate format that you prefer:
- Click the X or the Settings icon again to close
Updating your preferences will change the display units for routes, tracks, waypoints, and areas. The unit of measurement for the contour lines on maps cannot be changed. However, there are metric and imperial versions of Gaia Topo:
