Switch Between Metric and Imperial and Coordinate Formats on gaiagps.com

Use the Map Preferences panel to switch between metric or imperial units and change your coordinate format: Decimal Degrees; Degrees, Decimal Minutes; Degrees, Minutes, Seconds; or UTM.

Open Map Preferences

• Click the gear icon to open the Map Preferences panel

• Select the distance units and the coordinate format that you prefer: 

• Click the X or the gear icon again to close

Updating your preferences will change the display units for routes, tracks, waypoints, and areas. The unit of measurements for the contour lines on maps cannot be changed.  However, there are metric and imperial versions of Gaia Topo:

• Gaia Topo (meters)
• Gaia Topo (feet)
