Hiding Routes on GaiaGPS.com

Is there a way I can hide Routes only.. on the desktop version?

 

I would like to keep my routes in the event I want to return to one, but once I have a Track saved, I would like to hide the original Route.

  Dear mmarziotto,

  I'm new to Gaia GPS myself but assuming you're using the IOS version, if you go to your "Saved" items, you'll find that on the same line as the name of every Track, Route, and Waypoint there's a little Green "eye" beside the drop-down edit button.

  The Green Eye's function is to toggle the item's display on and off. When off it toes gray and a slashed line through it, after which the item will NOT display on your maps anymore.

  BTW, you can move selected Tracks, Routes, Waypoints etc into folders. The advantage to doing so is that each folder also has the little Green Eye, and this allows you to turn on/off the display of several tracks, routes and waypoints at once.

  Currently, there's not an option to hide just your routes on the gaiagps.com main map, sorry about that.
  
  However, you can file your track and any waypoints you saved into a folder and then open the folder page to view a customized map that doesn't show the route. Here are instructions for managing Folders on the gaiagps.com: https://help.gaiagps.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003640648.

  You can also toggle the sync status of your route on gaiagps.com to prevent it from being displayed on the main map, but this will also prevent the route from syncing to your device.   Thanks..  that's what thought.  I have made copious use of folders to sort out items I wish to display or hide..  The sync option you mention may be useful.  Thank you.  However what I really want is to be able to replicate the Hide option that is available in the app.  I often create multiple versions of routes with slight differences so it would be great to be able to hide the ones not being used...

   I have the same request for the desktop version. it would be great to have a simple Hide/Show toggle to hide tracks without fussing around with folders etc.

  I have to third or fourth this request.

  It is so simple on iOS but so cumbersome in Gaiagps. 

  Just put an eyeball like iOS that can be turned off and on.  I know, it's software and it's easier said then done, but seems so odd that it can be done on one OS with a single touch and not another.

  I also would like this function, i find it really annoying that i can't hide routes in the Gaia desktop version. Now some routes overlap.
