Delete 2,000 waypoints in one shot

 I have downloaded all waypoints for the Continental Divide Trail in New Mexico, Colorado. etc. Now that I've hiked that I want to get rid of them. The Help says"

1. From a Saved list (Tracks, Routes, Waypoints, Maps), tap on the item that you would like to delete. 
2. Tap the Action menu and select 'Delete'.

but the ... Action menu only gives me Hide. Delete is not there.

  Thanks for your question, I saw you sent us an email too and Robyn responded. I'll also answer your question here for future reference.
  
  The best way to delete many waypoints at once is to log into your account on gaiagps.com and either delete the waypoints in bulk or delete the folder that contains all of the waypoints.

  Wish you could elaborate on the ACTUAL steps to do this  ie: where/how do I select icons/folder.  I spent an hour reading and testing but to no avail.  As a new user trying it out to see if I will buy, this is very frustrating it is so difficult.

  The posted answers for mass deleting waypoints and tracks do not line up with the choices available in the software.  Action menu has no 'delete'; only Hide.  So I manually deleted one waypoint at a time and then I manually deleted one Track at a time (both very tedious).  The Contact Us on Gaia website is worthless, only a Bot that provides links to articles that don't provide solutions that match the software choices.
