Huawei Devices Track Recording Issues

Huawei devices have unique settings that will affect your track recording. 

If your track recording has stopped on its own, try the following steps:

•  Disable or ignore any energy optimizations or battery saving modes.

•  Open your phone's Settings app, and go to Battery > Launch  > locate the Gaia GPS app and allow all the options.

• Open your phone's Setting app and go to Apps & Notifications > Apps > Settings (bottom icon) >  Special Access > Ignore battery optimisation  >  Push "Allowed" and select "All apps" > Select "Gaia GPS" and mark "Allow".
  
  
• Restart your device. Some power settings don't take effect until after a restart.
