Failed map down load
AnsweredHi,
First time user of Gaia. I have the app loaded on iPad Air. I planned a route and then I proceeded to download the tile maps for the entire route. Using the download tip on the help page, I learned to zoom in and then click down load for each section of the road I plan to drive. However, in my download status, it's telling me that several of the maps have "failed" to download. The status bar shows partially filled.
Again, referencing the failed download user help page, I opened up my "saved" tab, then clicking on the "action" icon on the top right, opening up the actions drop list. There isn't any option for me to resume download as the help page indicated, which means all my maps are downloaded. But the "warning" icon on the download maps area, tells me that there is definitely failed downloads.
What should I be doing to fix this?
Thanks

Hey there,
I took a closer look at your account and can see you are downloading a number of MapBox maps and have reached the download limit for that source.
MapBox brand maps have an overall map download limit, here's more info on download size limits.
MapBox maps include:
- Satellite (MapBox)
- Satellite with Labels
- MapBox Outdoors
- MapBox Streets
I recommend deleting these some maps and using an alternate map like Gaia Topo for these areas.
You can then resume map downloads by:- Tap saved> Tap the filter icon in the top left> Maps> Select a map download> Tap the 3 dots in the top right> Resume Download
