unable to record track
AnsweredWhile I can use Gaia GPS to locate my position on the map and add waypoints, I do not seem to be able to record tracks.
When I tap on the 'Record' button, either in Map or Trip, the time, distance, and moving time displays all show zero, but do not advance. If I tap it again it gives me the option to save the track, though all the stats still read zero, even if I have been 'recording' for more than an hour. If I then go to Saved the track name appears. If, however, I open the track and tap 'Show on Map', it says "nothing to show", indicating that it has not recorded any track data.
The app sees my GPS, since it successfully locates my position and will add waypoints at my position.
I am using a Moto G4 plus running Android 7.0.

I'm sorry you are having trouble recording a track. This can happen when your phone is not getting a strong enough GPS signal to record a track. You can follow these steps to view the strength of your GPS signal.
To improve your GPS signal, try:
1. Set your location service to Device/GPS only mode
2. Move to an area with a clear view of the sky
3. Restart your phone.
If you are still having trouble, can you send a screenshot of your GPS status to support? Click Submit Request above to send the image.
