Death Valley National Park - major malfunction

There is a problem when searching for Death Valley National Park on GaiaGPS.com and then trying to send a map of the park to the app.  It used to send the map for the park, more recently gaiagps.com thinks you are asking for a 2.93 mile trail.

These are the results when you select Death Valley National Park:

"Death Valley National Park is a 2.93 mi trail through Death Valley National Park."

 

Please fix this issue.

  Currently, there is still an open bug report for this issue and I apologize for the inconvenience. In the meantime, you can download an offline map for Death Valley National Park using the Download Map feature in the app.

  Nathan,

   

  How are you guys doing on this BUG?  It's been a little over 2 months.  Any progress?   The send to app function for Death Valley is still NOT working.

   

  Prior to a few months ago I was able to send Death Valley NP to App.  Then it stopped working.  I don't know much about software, but I have to assume it was something that was changed in the software.  That said it shouldn't be too difficult to track down.

  It worked for me. I was able to download the map, trails, and waypoints to the Android app.

  Did you succesfuly send the file to your android?  How many MB was the file?  How many tiles?

   

  I use your identical link and I get the same result....a 2.93 mile trail/road.

   Yes, I get the map I selected (size will vary depending on what basemap you want and the resolution you select - at low res, it was 21 tiles). Plus it synced a bunch of waypoints and one route. Here's a screenshot from the app after it synced:

  DarrenB, you are most definitely NOT downloading Death Valley NP in its entirety.  Death Valley is comprised of 164,286 tiles based on my downloads which were succesful from a few months ago when the system was working properly. 

   

  Thanks for trying.  Hopefully, Gaia will fix this malfunction.

  My apologies - I misunderstood that you were trying to download the features for the ENTIRE park. When I read your original post the first time, I thought you were trying to download the same area as I did, but only received the route and not the map tiles around the route (and no waypoints).
