Trying to manage waypoints

    Also, if it matters, I am managing these points in Google Earth Pro on my laptop, then saving as kml. In Google Earth, the 1850 points are in a folder called "Tracks" and the 20 points are in a folder called "Waypoints". But those folders don't seem to be represented in the Gaia iOS app.

    On Google Earth, it works out because the 1850 points are set to icons that are very small squares and the 20 points are set to icons that are big yellow push pins. But in Gaia they're all the same big tear drop icon. So maybe the key is changing the icons in Gaia?

    Hi,

    Yes, changing the waypoint icons is one way you can deal with that: https://help.gaiagps.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003523767

    Alternatively, you could trace a 'path' in Google Earth around your waypoints like this: https://support.google.com/earth/answer/148072?hl=en

    Then, only export the path and the additional 20 waypoints to import into Gaia.

    Hi

    Really loving the your app!

    I am however having some functionality issues with managing waypoints. I have made a half attempt at organizing waypoint files as I've used Gaia for the last year or more. Recently I have tried to do some organizing and am having trouble moving multiple files. Is there a way to select and move selected file in a group?

    Thank you,  Kevin

    @ktupcon

    You can move multiple waypoints at once on the website.
