In Android is there a way to ad text to a map...such as right turn to camp etc so you don't have to tap a route to open its label?

  Hi,

  There isn't a way to add text directly to the map, but you could create waypoints at important locations.

  You can also color code or change the icon for your waypoints to represent different types of markers.

  I have plenty of way points. Text, just like making a note, is very beneficial while mapping. It allows you a quick view of important info which just symbol can not relay.

  Is there a plan in the future to have this option to bring GAIA up to date with options other mapping software has had for 20 years?
