Problem importing edited GPX file
AnsweredI forgot to turn off Gaia after our hike and recorded us driving away in the car. I used https://backcountrybc.ca/maps-and-media/gps-and-mapping-tools/wtracks-gpx-editor
to edit the exported file, cut off the driving part and saved the shorter (corrected) route as a GPX file.
The file will not import! It just spins and spins, doesn't fail, no errors either.
Then I tried editing the Gaia export file again, this time using https://feub.net/gps-track-tools/edit-track/#. I made the same change and exported the new GPX file and it also won't import back into Gaia.
I think the import is simply busted? Can anyone confirm the import acutally works?

Hey all! Thanks for reaching out to support about this.
We got a hotfix implemented this morning and the web uploader should be operating normally now.
If you have any issues, please let us know asap.
And, @corey, just so you know, you can crop a track next time you accidentally forget to stop recording when you drive off.
AND we just snuck a feature in to the latest iOS update (iOS release 2021.2) that helps with this exact problem.
Drive off detection - Get notified if you drive away while recording a track. Gaia GPS will also automatically select the driving segment to make it easy to trim off in the track editor.
