Android- Can you connect multiple already downloaded maps together into one "file"?
AnsweredI have downloaded multiple maps and layers for general areas. I would like to tie them all together so that I don't have to open close and move between multiple map files. Is this possible?

Hey cdashcraft3,
Yep, you can do this. It's not quite exactly like you have described it though. I need to explain a bit more about how map downloads work first.
When you save a map for offline use, you're downloading a section of the map onto your device. It's a bit like a screenshot. You can then view that screenshot, in full detail, while offline. But you only have full detail in the area that you downloaded. You can download multiple maps using the same map source (e.g. Gaia Topo, NatGeo Trails Illustrated, USGS Topo, etc.) and you can view all those maps together like they're one big map.
If you want to view two different map sources at the same time while offline, you can do that by layering those map sources. If you have the same area downloaded with two different sources, they'll stack on top of each other and you can change the opacity to see through them.
If you have different areas downloaded with different map sources, you can view them both offline by layering those sources, just like before. Only this time, because these areas don't overlap, you can see both maps in full detail without needing to adjust their transparency.Let me know if that works for you. And if you need help with anything else, feel free to contact support.
