Trails disappear from map

I'm in southwestern BC, Canada. Trails are sometimes on the map and other times not, often for days or weeks. I'm afraid of being left unable to navigate while out on a trip. I'm using Gaia Topo (meters) on an Android. Will there be a fix?

  I'm sorry to hear that trails in your area have been displaying inconsistently. 
  
  We recently experienced an issue that wasn't allowing Gaia Topo to display in some areas of the Western United States and Canada. 
  
  This has been fixed and you should see all areas of the world rendering properly when using Gaia Topo.
  
  If you are still having trouble viewing the map, try removing and re-adding the Gaia Topo map source from the Layers menu. Layers menu > More layers > Topo Maps > Gaia Topo > Toggle off. This will delete this layer from any Saved maps, but you can download the maps again later.
  
  Then force close Gaia GPS and wait 30 seconds. Open Gaia GPS and re-add the map source. Layers menu > More layers > Topo Maps > Gaia Topo > toggle on.
  
  Any downloaded maps with this layer on your account will have been archived. Follow these steps to unarchive them: Archiving, Unarchiving, and Recovering Lost Data
