GPX vs KML and iPad to PC and back

I have  created and saved an area with layers, waypoints and other features. What is the best way to export that to my iPhone (GPX or KML)? Also, can I create the same information on the PC and then export back too the iPad and iPhone?

  Hi there,

  If you login to the same Gaia GPS account from both your iPhone and iPad, your data will automatically download to both.

  It will also get saved in your online account on gaiagps.com.

  is there a way to export this data to .gpx or .txt?

  Yes - you can export to GPX or KML from both the app and website.
