You transfer your maps and data from one device to another by logging into Gaia GPS with the same email on each device and then syncing with gaiagps.com.

When you login to Gaia GPS from a new device, it will automatically start to download all of your maps and data.

Sync will get paused if you close the app, but you can follow the instructions I linked above to initiate a new sync.

After you complete a sync on both devices, I'd expect you to see all of your maps, but let me know if that isn't the case.

Wow!!! another big hit on time. Last night I downloaded 5 sections of the OpenCycle HD. 500K tiles total. Took at least 5 hours. I didn't track...I started soon after noon, and it finished by 1900. Then I logged in this morning with my tablet. It started downloading, which is nice. What is NOT nice, is that it will take hours for that to happen, too. When I did this for my GPS, it was a few minutes to download the map to my drive, copy to an SD card, put that into the GPS, and ready to go. And to make matters worse, I can't find OpenCycle on the desktop, so I can't manage from there.

    Hi imaginarian,

I'm sorry the download speeds are a bit slow. We're working to make them faster over the next few months. You can find OpenCycleMapHD on gaiagps.com/map/ by clicking the layers menu, then Add layers. Please send a note to support@gaiagps.com if you have any questions at all.
