Tracks gone?
I recorded tracks on my trip to Glacier Park in 2013. I’ve done some other tracks since, but I was surlrised when I went to my tracks and, although they are in the list, now when I click on them there is no track showed on the map and the stats are not displaying. What happened? Everything else is in the list and working... it’s just that trip in 2013.

I'm so sorry your track recordings from 2013 are not displaying properly.
Are you able to view these track recordings in the app?
- Open the app> Saved> Navigate to the saved track> Tap the title to open the preview screen
If the track is visible, can you try exporting it as a GPX file?
- Export Tracks, Routes, and Waypoints to GPX or KML
If you are not able to view the tack in the app, can you send me a screenshot of what you see when you open one of these track's preview screen?0 -
My tracks have stopped being listed on the side bar. I still see old tracks on the main screen.
How do I find my tracks. When I push saved the side bar is blank. I was just looking at them yesterday. iPad mini 4

I'm sorry you are having trouble finding your tracks.
Can you double check you are logged into your account and your tracks are synced to your account?
- Open the app> in the sidebar, tap Settings> Account> Your email will be listed under Change Email.- If not, tap Log in> Have an account? Sign in.
- Then tap 'Last Sync' to force a sync with your account.
If you still do not see your saved tracks, can you check if they are archived on gaiagps.com? Follow these steps to learn how.

I've lost my Great Divide Mountain Bike track from GAIA. What happened was that my charging port stopped working, so I couldn't charge the phone. I purchased a new phone and transferred all my data, the norrm when you get a new phone. Gaia appeared but when I opened it the map is there but missing my track. I followed the above directions but I haven't been able to recover it. Am I going to have to purchase another track and upload it again?

@kenscovill5 I'm very sorry - it sounds like your track did not get backed up to the website. Unfortunately, we won't be able to recover it if it's not archived on the website.
If this was a track you uploaded, typically GPX files are available for free and are shared by other users who have gone on the trail in the past. Bikepaking.com is a great resource for GPS data for popular mountain biking/bikepacking trails:

Like larry.sang.9, I cannot see my 2013 tracks. There are 25 of them. The titles with dates and times are on my app and on the website. On the app, instead of seeing a thumbnail of the map with the track on it under "Tracks", there is either a solid red or solid green square. I'm not sure how I can access these. When I click on them, nothing is there. I will fire up my ancient 3GS and see if they are still there!

@nancybrass, I'm sorry for the trouble viewing your old tracks.
It looks like you may be using an older, unsupported version of the app. If you can see your track data from 2013 properly on the web with your account, downloading the new Gaia GPS app will likely solve this issue.
To get set up:- First, transfer your data to the new app by first backing up Gaia GPS Classic to gaiagps.com
- If you have not already, download the app for free here
- When you log into the new app with the same Gaia GPS account, it will automatically start to download all of your maps and data.

Hi,
Some of my recorded tracks in IOS gaia app, I cannot see them in my gaiagps.com web account. Some of these tracks are very recent. Also, I have tried to check them in an android phone, still the same. Although they are still visible in my Iphone but cannot view them elsewhere. I'm using the latest IOS where I recorded these tracks. I also tried force sync few times, still the same, they are missing online and in other devices.

@Kushtrim D.
It sounds like you just need to finish syncing from your iPhone.
- Settings > Account > tap "Last Sync"
- the app will show you a spinning icon while a sync is in progress
- leave the app open and let it do its thing
- when you see the date or time listed you're all set
You should be able to find your new tracks on the web after that. If you have any issues or get a "sync incomplete" message please contact support.0
