is it not possible to delete waypoints from gaia.gps?

  Yes, you can delete waypoints from Gaia GPS in the app by following the steps in these articles:

  • Android: Deleting Data
  • iOS: Deleting Data

  On gaiagps.com, you can delete a waypoint by selecting it on My Waypoints page and then clicking the Delete option.
