can't delete pubic tracks

i and many other on website can't clear pubic tracks, some requests for help 7 months old. could you please fix this. otherwise i love your app. thanks for all the good you do. dan

    Can you clarify what you are trying to do? Are you trying to take one of your tracks that you have as public and mark it private? Is it to hide public tracks from your map? Or something else?

    i want to hide public tracks from your map

    I and others on gaia website can't clear pubic tracks on our phone or laptop.  i see lots of green lines, many straight,

    Both the web version and iOS, within “Map Overlays” you can toggle off “Public Tracks.” Have you tried this?

    yes that worked.   thanks so much.

    but would be nice if on my ios phone i could search under gaia search and find public tracks to turn on or off.  

    there are some folks on the gaia page with this question if you have time, some 7 months old.

    You can make any of your tracks, routes or waypoints public or private in the settings of those elements. https://help.gaiagps.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003523847-Make-your-Tracks-Routes-Waypoints-and-Folders-Public-Private-from-gaiagps-com. Also in your account settings, you can ensure your default sharing is set to “private” if you don’t want them to be public. This is for all future items you create in the app.

    If it is not possible to delete tracks, or nobody from Gaia help is willing to share how to delete tracks, I will simply delete Gaia and use Avenza or a different app. Very very sour taste in my mouth with Gaia purposely trying to share tracks to public. As guides, we used to use Gaia at my work and have decided to discontinue use because of this

    I’m with you. No way to delete anything, only archive. No delete function anywhere. And yet, GAIA deleted ALL my tracks recently. All gone. I’m going to find a different app.
