Gaia map spinning when in "hourglass" (travel direction up) mode

I use a Google Pixel 5 phone.  My map spins like a drunken sailor when I am using the travel direction up mode (centered on screen showing hourglass symbol).  When I connect to Android Auto, the car screen showing Gaia does not spin, but my phone screen continues to spin.  Anyone else having this issue?

I rebooted app, rebooted phone but still no joy.

  I have a Moto Z4 and it does the same thing.....

  This issue with the map rotating should be fixed in the latest version of 2021.7 which is now available in beta.
