Android keep screen from dimming when charging

Hi, when Im navitating on my motorcycle I want to keep the Gaia app fully lit so I can see my map clearly.    My phone is android and adaptive brightness is disabled, but the screen still dims after an amount of time.   Is there a way to stop this ?
