GaiaGPS for Android went from version 2026.2 to 2026.3 and back to 2026.2 ???

I updated to the latest version of GaiaGPS for Android, v2026.3.

I noticed that - despite the “About” notes saying they had fixed the problem with duplicate map layers - there were still the same HUNDREDS of duplicate map layers.

I thought perhaps this was a cache issues, so I cleared cache, cleared app data, deleted the app, reinstalled.

When I reinstalled, I saw that it went back to 2026.2.  And 2026.3 has disappeared from Google Play.  Also, the HUNDREDS of duplicate map layers still existed in the reinstalled (tho' older version) app.

What's going on over there, developers???
