Tracks stop running mid-hike

In 3 of my last 4 hikes the tracking has stopped on it's own. My phone (Android) was in my pack the whole time. When I took it out at the end of the hike the tracking was no longer running. When I checked the ‘Saved’ tab the tracks that I had started at the beginning of the hike were there but had stopped  somewhere mid-hike. This also happened on my wife's phone on our last hike. I've been using GAIA for about 9 years and never had this happen before. I've been using this phone since April 2025 with no previous issues.
