What happened to the Record button

Did the app just get updated? I always had a record button displayed when I opened Gaia. Suddenly, I get a Distance field where the Record button used to be. I have long-pressed on the Distance field and I get the list of other choices to display but there is no Record Button option.

I want it back. Anybody else having this problem or know how to get it back where it belongs?

  Ya, that appears to have changed with the 7.0.10 Android update, find it under the "trip" tab at the bottom of the screen.  Not convenient now...

  If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I agree, it's not convenient.

  Thanks for posting everybody - I'm sorry you are having trouble bringing the record button back to the stats bar.
  
  This feature is still available and you can find it by:

   

  • Long press the stats bar> select Track Recorder, the topmost option. 

  
  Please click Submit Request to contact support if you do not see this option.
