Editing a Route

I'm assuming I'm using the latest version. I have a paid subscription. I am using this on a Windows 7 desktop. I would like to edit a route that I spent several hours creating, but every time I try to edit the route, it seems to want to start from the beginning waypoint. I want to edit in the middle of the route, not the start.
What am I doing wrong? I mean, this is simple in Google Earth, why not Gaia GPS? Does this need to be a feature request? It seems after research that this has been an issue for several years now. Something so simple should be fixed by now.

Sorry you are having some trouble with editing routes.
You should definitely be able to edit the middle of a route by following these steps:To modify the middle of the route, click and drag any spot along the route to add a route point. Then you can drag any section of the route or any of the route points to a different portion of the trail.

If you continue to have any issues, please try the following:
1. Update your browser to the latest version
2. Clear the cache on your browser
3. Try using a different web browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox.
