Can't change root folder to SD card
Under Settings / Storage / Root Folder, I see "Default internal storage." When I press this item, I see "Select New Root Folder" with options for /storage/sdcard1/ and /storage/emulated/0/. Then when I press /storage/sdcard1/, I get "There was a problem moving the storage folder". This used to work for me.
I recently did a reinstall because I was getting a blank display with no maps. I don't know what might have caused this, but the reinstall fixed it. I'm using a ZTE Citrine (Z716BL) with Android 5.1.1.
Any ideas?

Any updates on this or a solution, I am having the exact same issue in getting the error message. I made no changes to the system. Also, it occurs on all my devices.

Other users with this issue have had success by reformatting their SD card:
https://www.samsung.com/au/support/mobile-devices/how-to-format-your-microsd-card/
Then, try following these steps again: Move Where Gaia GPS's Root Folder is Located (For SD Card Storage)
Please try reformatting, and if it does not work, please contact Support here.0
