Sync Not Working iOS
iPhone 13, IOS 15.7, latest version GaiaGps. App will not sync. I have tried everything:
* Force closing and reopening app
* login/logout of app
* logout of app, shutdown/restart iPhone - reopen/login app
* deleting app-restarting iPhone-reinstalling app
* toggling sync to off on web and retried all of the above
* changed pwd and retried all of above
No joy with any of this
Have tried all of these things on different days but to no avail. Was working fine and then just stopped, coincidentally started occurring same time as I upgraded to premium membership. So I'm now paying and getting less than I was before. Anyone have any ideas (yep, reported to support but no help yet, hoping the community has some ideas)
Any Help???
Also exported / deleted all data from gaiaweb; phone would not sync with zero data in my account. And repeated all of the steps listed at start with zero data. All to no avail. No Joy.
I've seen multiple people in different forums have this same problem and yet GAIAGPS Support is NON-RESPONSIVE. Disturbing, frustrating, ...

No help, unfortunately, but I have the same problem. iPhone 12, iOS 15.7, latest Gaia version, doesn't sync on multiple devices (the other is an iPad, again, with latest versions of iOS 15 and Gaia.)
I've been a paying customer for years, no recent change of status.
Any help is greatly appreciated. -
Same here. Cannot sync anything to a new Iphone 13. Tried uninstalling app and reinstall, still same. I can see numerous folders listed on the phone, all empty, no data. Cannot see any of my tracks on the phone but they are on the Gaia web site. IOS 16. I have two other older Iphones that sync no problem. I can log in to Gaia app no problem on the new Iphone. I've been Gaia premium member many years.

I already submitted a support request here: https://help.gaiagps.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
Maybe you can do the same.

Yep, did that several days ago. Haven't heard a thing from them.
So I just took an extreme step of doing a complete restore to my iPhone from a couple months ago when the app was working; full iPhone restore. After jumping thru those hoops, fired up GaiaGps and guess what: absolutely NO difference, app still refuses to sync. It's a good app when it works; and oddly enough, it worked until I upgraded to Premium to get additional overlays, maps, printing.... That's what really gets my goat.

I was in the same boat at the same time as y'all. I have a LOT of data that requires sync. Here's what I did to make it work. It sounds like some folks have tried similar things, but sometimes the devil is in the details, so I'll recap what I did that worked for me.
First: iphone 13 Pro Max running the latest OS.
1) deleted the app
2) Reinstalled app
3) Logged into app
4) Tried to sync. No love except for one recent track and a couple of recent waypoints. UGH.
5) Reviewed these Troubleshooting articles from Gaia. If you notice, they've all been recently updated so Gaia is clearly aware of cloud syncing problems.
https://help.gaiagps.com/hc/en-us/articles/4815915798167-Why-isn-t-my-data-syncing-
https://help.gaiagps.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047015193
6) Went to Gaiagps.com and examined My Tracks, Routes, Waypoints, etc. Specifically looking at the Sync setting. Of course, all are set to ON.
7) Knowing how....ahem...funky....Gaia can be, I didn't trust these sync settings so I MANUALLY reset them. ALL of them. MANUALLY. sigh.
8) Specifically: I went to tracks, clicked the checkbox in the top row next to the "title" column, which selects all the tracks on that page.
9) Next, I clicked Toggle Sync in the header twice, so it would cycle between Off then back to On (where, of course, it originally was).
10) Then as a test, I went to the iOS Gaia app and manually triggered sync. Lo and behold, that page of 20 tracks was back and visible in the App.
11) Now, painstakingly go through every page of Tracks (you can't select multiple pages of course) and do this same process ad nauseum. Select all; toggle sync off and then on; then manually sync the App. You might get away with doing all the toggling page by page and then manually syncing once with the app. I didn't trust that but your mileage may vary.
Does this suck? Yes it sucks. I have 35 pages of Tracks; 161 pages of Waypoints and 26 pages of Routes.
I did this for ONLY the last two years of Tracks, ALL my Waypoints and none of my routes. None of my photos. Why? I've had issues with Sync before and think there's some point at which the system "chokes" on too much data. No idea when this happens or what, so I was conservative. I don't need all my routes on the App, just my current one. I don't need my Gaia photos. I'd love to have my tracks but only went for some as a compromise. I need all the waypoints though, so did all of those.
This worked for me. The App now syncs again. For now.
Remember, you're paying good money for this!

Same issues with iPhone 13 Pro Max .... I have tried all of the suggestions.. still no success.. tried 3 emailsl to support... I get.the same caned response from 3 different support ppl.. I am wondering if it has to do with the lack of Gaia not doing app updates to keep up with Apple iOS updates?

I've used Gaia ever since it was first available and this has been a recurring problem almost since the beginning. I had the same problem with Iphone 13, everything with the latest updates etc.
Here's the easiest solution. On my Iphone I went to settings, general, and scroll all the way to the second choice from the bottom, Transfer or Reset Iphone. Select Reset and then Reset Network Settings.
Has worked numerous times for me. Good luck.

Interesting suggesting Bamabww, I will try your tip next time (and there will be a next time) this happens to me.
For those wondering where "support" is beyond the new chatbot that simply points to support articles, the last trace of Gaia staff participating in these forums that I can find is 7 months ago (July?) in this article:
https://help.gaiagps.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/6801910807575-Maps-Will-Not-Download-on-IOS
Anyone see anything more recent?
Folks keep asking where help is but it seems to have been cut. It's likely a new policy resulting from the extensive cost cutting measures implemented by the CEO (possibly to support their critical metaverse initiative. ahem.). Anyway, it's up to members now since it seems to, sadly, be a skeleton crew left which is too bad as in the old days, this forum was very active with helpful, friendly Gaia staff helping users out but again, they likely cannot do so anymore.

I also had issues with my iOS app not properly syncing with the cloud, some of the changes I made in the website made it to the iOS app and some did not. I ended up deleting the app and reinstalling it, and the app synced down all of the correct data from the cloud. So far so good!
