Gaia helped save my brother-in-law's life

Just wanted to through this out there, Gaia is an incredible app. This Labor Day weekend my brother-in-law and I used the app to route a dual sport ride from Arnold CA to Lake Alpine.  We've ridden some area in the past but don't know the area well.  The app was great for setting the course and everything was going according to plan until it wasn't. 

Half way through our ride my brother-in-law crashed doing about 30mph on a fire road.  I didn't know it at the time but he had a concussion, 3 broken ribs and a punctured lung.  All I knew was he was in a bad way.  

I was immediately able to drop a way point on the map of where he was and see the closest route to the highway.  I raced down the road and ran into a group of people camping with a side by side at the Black Springs OHV.  Their group called 911 and raced back out to pick up my brother-in-law.  The ambulance was there when we got back to the camp and we was ultimately life flighted out of there emergency medical treatment.

Without Gaia GPS I never wouldn't have know where I was and which direction to head for help.  Needless to say things could have turned out a lot differently.
