Items Not Staying in Folders
Does anyone else have this experience: You organize items into folders, but they don't stay put? You come back to GaiaGPS another day and the items you organized are back in the main saved data folder.
For example, yesterday I put some wayward waypoints back into their folder umpteen times, and they finally seemed to stay put by the end of the day. Today I've been busy organizing items in folders, and all of a sudden the ones I struggled with yesterday and at least a half dozen unrelated items from other folders that I haven't even looked at lately were suddenly out of their folders and in the main saved data folder.
What the heck is going on? It's so frustrating; I'm wasting so much time putting items back into their folders over and over again. It's like whack-a-mole. And it's super frustrating because I do all this work and walk away from my desk think I've done a nice job of organizing data for my team so they have all the information they need within specific project folders, but when I turn around all of a sudden items have "popped" out of their folders and are no longer part of the picture informing my teams and partners.

I have found that, often the folder organization is not properly copied to the Gaia website backup.
If it is a layered map download only one of the layers is assigned to the folder I assigned to the entire download.
I always have to go to the webpage listing to correct problems, not the app.
Also the webpage map list only uses the download name, does not identify the source of each layer. -
Clarification:
I organize items via the website platform, not the phone app. This whack-a-mole problem occurs no matter how I organize the items:
- via the main saved data list, selecting items and moving them to a folder;
- via the items themselves, editing details and moving them to a folder;
- via the database tables (for waypoints, tracks, routes, folders, etc.)

I finally bought a paid subscription to gaia gps and then discovered this bug - it makes it basically useless, NONE of my waypoints stay in folders. I organized almost 2,000 waypoints, came back, and none of them were in the folders again. Figured maybe it was a fluke, organized a bunch again - same thing. Starting to wish I hadn't wasted my money.
