Out-and-back route on Android gets messed up on PC (web)
I read a couple of posts regarding creating an out-and-back or reverse route ("Reverse a route", "out-and-back route creation"). I know these options are now available on Android app but not yet on the web on Windows PC. I usually use my PC to make a trip plan because it's easier to do that with a large screen and mouse. As a workaround, I tried to create a one-way route on the web. Then, switched to Android app, edited it and chose "Out and back" option. It worked well on the Android phone (see the screenshot below).
However, when I switched back to PC and reloaded the web page, the return route got messed up (see the screenshot below).
It seems to me that the order of the waypoints wasn't properly transferred to PC (through Gaia cloud?). That's why the return route was zigzagging and became a longer route on the elevation chart (12mi vs 7.07mi).
I tried this for two different routes and got the same problem.
Please fix this problem. Also, please make these options (out and back, reverse, back to start) available on the web and transfer to Android without any mess!

I got another similar problem. Now I created an out-and-back route solely on the web by manually placing the return points close to the trail so they were automatically adjusted onto the trail. It was OK. But when I reloaded the route, it again looked zigzagging in the elevation chart. It looks fine on my Android app. The same problem happens on the latest version of Firefox and Chrome on Windows 10.
So, I guess the problem lies on the web not on the "out and back" option on Android app. Actually, when I exported it as GPX and loaded it into Alltrails web / Android app, the out-and-back route looked fine. So, only the Gaia GPS web fails to handle the GPX data. Please fix this problem as soon as possible.
