bulk conversion to routes and elevation look-up
Some trail associations provide GPX, KML, GeoJSON, etc of various features and, most importantly, trails. When imported into GaiaGPS, they're interpreted as tracks with null-ish altitude or timing data, which is not as useful as being a route.
As-is, I have to use GaiaGPS iOS and click through each single such track to click "convert to route." I don't see the option to do this even to a single track at gaiagps.com, and there is no bulk option I can see, and such a bulk option would be useful on gaiagps.com in particular.
Finally, even after having done this, the elevation and distance data is often all-zeros. I'd like to then bulk-overwrite this with GaiaGPS topological data. Once again, in iOS I can do this, one by one, dismissing the warning message about losing my (presumed recorded...) track data. Which is at least a little weird for a route. Once again, bulk processing of this kind is well-suited to the use cases seen at GaiaGPS.com versus GaiaGPS iOS.
