New map layer interface

The new map layer UI that expands from the bottom of the screen is much worse than the previous version that came out from the left side. The old version allowed for many more layers to be viewed at the same time which made selecring or rearranging layers far easier compared to this new layout which only uses half of the screen's vertical space and includes an excess of padding around elements. Please bring back the old UI or make the new UI more compact/use more of the available screen.

  I just updated to version 2022.3 for android and the map layer control appears to be completely nonfunctional. Are there new instructions or a tutorial?
