Please add bearing line capability
Plotting a bearing line is a really basic function of navigation. Many users have requested this feature. This could be added to the “+” menu.
Add->Bearing would bring up a marker, with a line back to your location. As you move the marker, the bearing and distance would be displayed.
This is necessary for using Gaia with a sighting compass to identify objects/locations.
Being able to show multiple bearing lines would be extra nice, say for those times when you want to do some triangulation, but I’d be thrilled just to get a single bearing line capability.
Thanks,
Charlie

Agree, bearing lines and range rings are critical features. I'd suggest a few design features:
- Ability to drop multiple lines/circles (critical for compass work)
- Ability to drag a line without changing the length/bearing (e.g. for plotting a running fix or using a parallel index)
- Bonus (less critical): ability to anchor these to one's current position, e.g. a roving range ring or bearing line.
