100 tile limit on USGS-Esri download???
AnswerediOS 15.2.1, iPhone Xr:
Anyone deal with this recently?
There is an apparent bug where my map downloads are limited to 100 tiles, which is tiny and useless. Perusing Help directs me to a forum post where the "solution" is to delete the source (USGS Topo-Esri), and then add it back to the list.
When I prepared to delete USGS Topo-E maps from the list of available sources, a warning popped up telling me that if I delete that source, all existing saved maps from that source will be lost.
Is this true? I'll have to download all ≈12 large areas that I have saved in the USGS Topo-Esri flavor all over again?

Sorry for the trouble. The 100 tile limit is related to an outdated source. Removing the source from the menu is the only way to fix it. You will have to download the maps again, but you won't have to draw the bounding boxes again if you don't want to. Instead, you can unarchive the maps. Here are the exact steps:
- Remove the USGS ESRI source from the Layers menu. Layers menu > Add map layers (at bottom) > United States > USGS ESRI > X Remove. This will delete this layer from any Saved maps, but you can download the maps again later.
- Force close Gaia GPS
- Wait 30 seconds
- Open Gaia GPS and re-add the map source. Layers menu > Add map layers (at bottom) > United States > USGS ESRI > Add.
- Any maps with this layer on your account will have been archived. Follow these steps to unarchive them: Archiving, Unarchiving, and Recovering Lost Data
