Imported GPX files incorrectly recognized as recorded tracks
When I import a GPX file from other sources, CalTopo for example, the object is incorrectly recognized as a recorded track. This means that I cannot edit the route.
I would like there to be a way to set an object as NOT a recorded track so that I can edit the route.
Is there a reason that the GPX files I import are un-editable recorded tracks? How does GaiaGPS determine the object type?

Routes I have created in GaiaGPS and then share with friends, import as tracks. They then have to retrace the tracks so they become routes. Some of them are reluctant to do this and therefore don't have turn-by-turn directions and are then reluctant to lead the group on rides. I would expect a gpx file that contains route data elements to be imported as a route.
