    Hello,

    Yes, it can be done:

    1. Click the "Saved Items" on the GaiaGPS.com page
    2. Go to Filters and chose Items-->Folders
    3. Select your folder that contains the waypoints
    4. Shift-click them all
    5. Click the small icon for "File To"
    6. Click "More Folders"
    7. Chose the one you want to move them to.

I don't see "File To" = only "File this Folder". This copies the entire folder, not just the files.

Yes, that was an issue I found too. It copied the whole folder. That really screwed things up when it moved the whole folder on me. It created hours of headache trying to get everything back the way it was.

OK, let's try again, shall we?

The steps described before DO work:

    1. Click the "Saved Items" on the GaiaGPS.com page
    2. Go to Filters and chose Items-->Folders
    3. Select your folder that contains the waypoints
    4. Shift-click them all
    5. Click the small icon for "File To"
    6. Click "More Folders"
    7. Chose the one you want to move them to.

Here are some screenshots. I created Folder 1 that has 4 waypoints and a route in it. I will only move the waypoints to Folder 2:

Here is Folder 2 after the move:

And here is Folder 1 after the move:

As you can clearly see, the route has not been moved to Folder 2.

Ahhhhhh! Thank you for your patience and re-explaining. My problem was the "Saved Items" part. I didn't see anything that said saved items anywhere - so I thought you meant to go to the top icon / folders. Now that I've looked at your screenshots I see what you're talking about - the little folder icon on the left. Eureka! I'd never even clicked on that before. This is super helpful. THANK YOU for taking the time to post the screenshots. Very much appreciated!

Is it also possible to copy the items from one folder to another?

Sure it is and here's how:

    1. On the left side go to Saved Items and click "Filter":
    2. Item-->Select and check "Folders"
    3. Click on the name of one of the folders you wish to move the items FROM
    4. Check the item you want to move to a different folder
    5. Click the black folder item which shows "File to"
    6. Select the folder you want to move them TO

    Hey, how about this?

I have several waypoint packages downloaded from elsewhere in internet and placed in separate folders in the root. Every now and then (randomly) GAIA seems to forget where a package file should be located, and moves the waypoints out from the folder and into the root. When I try to locate the package file in the root it is NOT visible (only my folders are listed there) so I cannot move it back to a folder. Also, the individual waypoints are not present in the root list, although they show on the map all time. When I click one of the waypoints in the map view, it does show that it's located in a package, but I cannot select, or manipulate the package in any way.

    So,
    1) why is the package file and its waypoints not showing in the root, but do show on the map?
    2) how can I select the package file including all the waypoints and move it as a whole back to a folder?
    3) generally, can I in some way mass-select waypoints from the map view move them where they belong? And if yes, would it "break" them off the package file where they belong to originally?
