What device do I need?

I viewed a tutorial and it appeared that GAIA would do all the things I needed. I purchased premium version. Most of the features did not work on my PC. I figured that I needed to run it on iOS or Android. I tried my iPad 3 but it can't be installed on it. So I loaded GAIA on my iPhone 13. It worked much better than my PC, but still not like the video on the GAIA website. For example, the tool bar that displayed on the left in the video does not display. That makes it difficult or impossible to find some features.

I guess my question is what device was used to create the GAIA online video? Also, what devices will give me access to all features including the tool bar and the options box when creating a route (road, trail, straight line)?
