How Often is the Private Lands (US) Layer Updated?

I found an older question about this, which said the layer was updated quarterly, but there is significantly outdated information compared to what my local county's GIS information is displaying. Anyone at Gaia who can answer where this database is accessed and how often it's updated?

  Hi @natewyeth,
  
  The information for the U.S. Private Land overlay comes from individual counties and states and is updated quarterly. Because of the quarterly update cycle, combined with whatever update cycles the individual counties have, it takes at least 3 months for any changes to show up, and sometimes over a year.
