Emergency locator for missing person

Does Gaia have the ability to locate (lat/long) a device/person?  Scenario:  a person is using the Gaia app on their phone and is missing (doesn't return on time, etc).  Can the family or authorities contact Gaia to find the location of the missing person?

  There was a feature request a while back for Gaia to provide real-time location sharing (which you can do in Google maps by the way), for reasons like this as well for team efforts such as search and rescue among other things. Would love it if it was possible for Gaia to implement something like this.
