Gaia GPS is honestly driving me crazy (Android, iOS, multiple devices)
I've heard nothing but good things about Gaia but now that I'm using it, I'm not so sure. It's frankly driving me crazy. Here's some of what I've been dealing with...
Downloaded a map on to my 8" Android tablet (Gaia Topo, a few historic topo layers plus a satellite layer and some more like private lands and public lands). All is good. The same map eventually downloaded onto my Android phone and iPad Pro. So far, great. Next I created a new map (same layers) and downloaded it to my 8" Android tablet. Again, all is good. Then I got the map to download to my Android phone. Seemed good but after it was finished, the map I'd already downloaded was half the size it used to be and had the "Resume Download" option. Both maps were missing the Gaia Topo layer and it doesn't seem to work at all anymore, even online. The iPad refuses to see the second map I created and hasn't downloaded it or indicated it exists after several days.
I saw something about deleting and redownloading a map by deselecting a layer so I did that on the Android phone with Gaia Topo (which only appears in the "More Layers"). The two maps disappeared from the phone (even though they didn't show that they even had that layer). Once I reselected the layer, the maps have not redownloaded.
I also noticed the map sizes are different sizes on different devices even though they're the same number of tiles. I added routing data to each map but the iPad shows zero routing data.
In addition, I just looked at My Maps on gaiagps.com and only the second map I created shows but the first map is still on the 8" Android tablet and the iPad. I found it in archived (repeated 11 times) along with 7 more entries for the second map I created that is also still showing on the active maps screen). I'm guessing each entry is one layer.
I turned sync on for all the entries (I'm not sure why they were all off) and the maps are redownloading to my Android phone. However, the Gaia Topo layer has now disappeared on the Android 8" tablet, just like it did on the phone. The symptoms are exactly the same.
All in all, I'm annoyed and a bit pissed off at the time I've wasted. The maps are screwed up on the Android tablet and I still can't get the second map to download onto the iPad. I have no idea what's going to happen when the maps finish redownloading to the Android phone but I'm not super hopeful. Can anyone enlighten me as to what the heck is going on here?
Thanks.

Well, after setting all the layers to sync the maps redownloaded to the Android phone and appear to be working. I can't get them to redownload to the Android 8" tablet however and the second map still won't download to the iPad.
