Making "Driving" the default routing mode

When making a new route, the default routing mode is set to "Hiking", is there anyway to set the default to "driving"  Thanks,  Mark

  PLEASE make this an option. I know you began as a hiking app but there are MANY users who are 'drivers'. Overlanders, motorcycle riders, regular auto drivers, SxS, etc. Please re-consider making this setting sticky.

  Yes. Please add this to preferences as a controllable setting.
