Deleted some downloaded maps in iOS app, the rest through web app

Hi,

I think that by deleting some downloaded maps from within the iOS app and the majority of the maps through the web login I have caused the iOS app to stop working. The app on my iPad will open but shuts down before I can look at any settings. Is there a way to “reset” the iOS app so that the downloaded maps can be synched with the web version, or at least stop it from crashing?

    Hey @sbanham1,

    Sorry for the trouble you are experiencing with the app.

    It is likely that the app is currently trying to sync the recent map deletions. A large map download or syncing a large amount of data can also cause slowness in the app.

    Please try the following:

    • Open Gaia GPS > Settings > Power Saving > Set "Keep screen on" to "on" 
    • Leave the Gaia GPS app in the foreground 
    • Plug your device in and let it sync overnight if possible
