Associate Waypoint with Track ID?

I recently went on a hike and I noticed some of my waypoints (with photos) were associated with the track and some were not. I downloaded the geojson file associated with the unanchored or unbound waypoints and I was able to confirm the track_id was empty. The end result is there are photos missing from the photo roll for the public track. Here is an example. There are only two photos associated with the track, but I had other waypoints with photos on that hike that I would like to show up in the photo roll.

I even tried downloading and modifying the geojson of the waypoint (via the FeatureCollection type) and edit in a track_id I gleaned from the other anchored waypoints, but that did not work, alas. The waypoint appeared, but was still not anchored to the track and so the photo did not show up in the photo roll.
