High CPU usage on the desktop

Is anyone else experiencing their CPU being pegged just trying to zoom and pan on the desktop. I have an older i3 but that should be enough right?......

  I am having the same issue, 100% CPU usage when moving the map with a couple of layers turned on, maybe 90% with them all off in Google Chrome. Microsoft Edge seems to perform quite a bit better.

  Windows 10

  i5-7600k 3.8 GHz

  16 GB ram

  Hey there, 

  Will you both check to see if you have hardware acceleration enabled? This has shown to dramatically increase performance on the website. 

  Here's how to enable that in Chrome
