Course up acts like Compass up Android Version 2021.7 (3000)
Course up is completely erratic after update. It acts as if it were in compass mode. How do I turn OFF compass mode? It worked perfectly 2 versions ago. Why did GAIA have to break it? This app is useless to me now when I'm flying down a dirt path that splits in 4 directions. I have to stop and orient myself which super annoying.

Same problem for me. Just recently started using Gaia and was excited to try it but the heading up was useless since the map was spinning all over. They need a function to turn off using the compass when using heading up

I've never had a problem until the last update broke it. I waited until this new update but it's still broken. I wonder if there is a way to unistall the last 2 updates and go back to an earlier version? Support? Do you read these posts?

Version 8 out today looks like it may be fixed or at least improved

The new version did not fix this problem. I guess I will go back to OnXOffroad.
