Bulk icon changes

Hi, adopted using this great app after years of using alternates. I have found that I can import my data from my old app in GPX format and that these are placed into a new folder which makes this process very manageable, however each import has up to many hundreds and some with thousands of waypoints. The big hurdle is that I can not see a way to set an icon for the import (as every item in the import will want to have the same icon). As it stands it is a daunting task to have to do each one individually, given that I have a total waypoint count of 18,000+ (In addition to using a GPS app for outdoor activities, it is also a World Atlas for me. Is there a way I can set icons to an import or will I be doing this for years?
