Why did map resolution change?

I used to be able to download high resolution maps. I specifically loved using the World Imagery layer, downloaded to 19 (the highest resolution). After the latest build, I can't specify the numeric value. Rather, I can only select from "Low", "Medium, or "High". The problem is that the high value doesn't map to the highest resolution previously available. This effectively breaks Gaia for my use - mountaineering, where having the highest resolution is a necessity. Is there a plan to revert this behavior?

  We updated the app to map "High" to the highest resolution available for a particular map source.
  
  This update will be available in version 2021.8 of the app.
